Dear Parents,

Our names are Demetris Gray and Deron Johnson and we will be your head and assistant coaches for this season! We are excited about our team and we hope that you and your kids are too! Our primary goal for this season is for everyone to have fun and improve their football skills. Our basic philosophy is to foster a positive, supportive atmosphere so that every player has a great experience. Regardless of ability, every member of the team deserves to be treated with encouragement. Players should respect each other, on and off the field and should learn to win and lose well. We look to our parents to help reinforce these important concepts: when you come to games or practices, please limit your interaction with your children to positive encouragement from a distance. During games, please treat the officials with the respect that they deserve. We are our children’s most important role models. We’ll set as good an example as I possibly can, and I would greatly appreciate your help by doing the same.

There are just a few reminders on matters of importance:

Practices: Practices start one hour before our scheduled game time. Please arrive to practice 15 minutes before our scheduled start time.

Games: Please arrive with your child ready to practice and for that days scheduled activities.

Items to bring: Team jerseys, mouthpiece, cleats/sneakers, shorts / pants (no pockets or belt loops), and water bottles. A water cooler will be available for our team to refill their bottles should they need to do so.

Cancellations: Unless you are notified officially by the league, we will always have practices and games. In the event that the league does cancel games, you will be notified on the email account that you provided during your child’s registration.
